First Day

I had been reading "Everything Nice" written by Lannie Rose, a transgender woman.  In her first steps toward transitioning she recounts creating an account on urnotalone.com and meeting people who helped her on her journey.  Imagine to my surprise when I found this site is alive and well nearly 15 years later.

Today is my first day in the urnotalone.com community.  Already I have been welcomed by several members and had a wonderful chat with one girl who, unfortunately lives far away.  

I was most excited to recieve a welcome from a girl in my hometown. We chatted for about 10 minutes and I learned more about the CD / TG community in our town than I had found in searching for over two years.  I am excied to be here and hope the rest of this journey is as nice as the first day.  It never is...... but one can hope!!!
