Let's get this thing going right...

Here is the poem I composed in March that some claimmade me a nominee for Poet of the Year - enjoy! _________Trans-Sister________  I once was a "boy"***But knew all along***That my outside packaging***Was definitely wrong! ___So back in my youth***To fit in, you know,***I had to just fake it -***Live incognito. ___But after a while***Things came to a head;***If I could not change,***I'd rather be dead. ___I reached for the truth***And cast out the lie -***At first all forsook me***That pain made me cry! ___But now I'm much better***I dance and I twirl***And thank God each day***That I'm now a girl! __________By: Nancy-Jo Morris 3-10-2006
