Hi,, My name is Kimberly and I am female. I began transition in 2016 at age 63, and had surgery in March of 2017. My story is interesting in the fact that unlike most transgenders today, I had to come out to my children, instead of the children coming out to a parent. My journey is interesting enough that I wrote and published a book about it. My autobiographical memoir is titled: Becoming Kimberly, A Transgender's Journey. it has been displayed at the LA Times Festival of Books in LA in April of this year, and will be in the AJC Decatur Book Festival in Atlanta, GA in August or September. Currently, I am working on a science fiction novel, hopefully to be released by the end of summer.
