HRT made all the difference in the world in the battle with dysphoria, so I am very grateful to have had access to that.

I am Melissa Elisabeth Powers. I was a cross dresser..... now transgender. Some of my friends call me Missy. I am a shy girl and always seem to be too cautious. I now live as Melissa. When i was a teen, it was mostly for sexual gratification. As I have gotten older, this is who I really am. My mind, my heart and my soul are all female. Dressing and presenting as Melissa has caused a lot of problems with my spouse. We are now divorced. Family is not accepting at the moment. Maybe time will help us reunite, but that seems highly doubtful. Mom was starting to come around, but she passed away in November of 2024 and now I have no contact with my remaining family. Back after many years to see if any old friends are still around. Years ago, I performed in Las Vegas as a professional female impersonator in a live stage show for five incredible years. I think I'd still categorize myself as a crossdresser, but I've been feeling like the feminine side of myself is how I'd prefer to present and live most of the time.

I am widowed since 2014. I own a comfortable home a little north of Houston. I am semi-retired from our family home remodeling company. I still work as a consulatant but my son does the day to day operation. I love to sing. I've performed in a number of musicals and sang in various fund raisers and showcases. I did a concert to raise money for LGBT youth. I did the first act as Jeanette then changed during the last song of the first act to my male persona. I did the second act in boy mode. I like to consider myself a lady of class and refinement and expect to be treated as such. I don't care to talk dirty or share pictures of privates. I am not a prude but if you feel it necessary to talk sexual within 5 minutes of conversation, I know why you are here and not in a relationship. I would love to find a partner in crime to travel and attend the theatre. I mingle with the great unwashed without issues and regularly go out in public alone or with friends.

First off, let me say I am not impressed by photos of a man's penis. Just because I am here does not mean I am going to jump in bed with any man. I am not a pleasure unit. I am a human with feelings and a mind. I first realized I was really a girl when I was 3. I started trying on Mommy's things when I was 5 and she caught me in one of her skirts when I was 7. After that, she started treating me like a daughter, even to the point of letting me wear cute girly things anytime I was not in school. Even though I KNEW I was really a girl, I still had to attend school and pretend to be happy as a boy. It was only when i got home and could change clothes, I felt truly right in my appearance. I started my "boy" blockers for my 12th birthday (the same day Mommy bought me my very first bra and had me start to use sanitary pads. I finally got to go totally full time the day after I got out of high school. That was also the day I was started on my HRT. Now, thanks to the HRT, I have a very cute figure and an loving my life so much. When I enrolled in college, it was as a coed and I was even asked to pledge a sorority (Delta Gamma). Thru my sisters, I learned to be a woman that helps the community. I will be a Delta Gama for ever..

I am very disappointed with this site. In less than a month, 1. I've had two different women in theory contact me both claiming to be the child of an American father and and Estonian mother. To make the coincidence even worse they both claim to be geologists and civil engineers.... 2. Another woman after proclaiming her love for me told me I obviously didn't love her because I wouldn't help her pay the rent. 3. Another that I had been talking to for under a week decided she wanted to send me clothes and then I was presented with a $1,750 bill for shippng clothing from Florida to where I live, about 600 mi away. Obviously UPS or FedEx would have been cheaper. Is there anyone on the site who is really looking for a relationship or is this all about scam? I am very shy.
