Howdy! Let's keep it simple, shall we? I am a friendly M2F transgender trying my best to look passable. Overall I'm good natured, open minded, and always up for a chat with friendly people and other androgynous creatures like me. I do my own make-up, and love experimenting with different looks, hopefully ending up somewhat decent. I have no interest in fake profiles/pictures/personas, sissy/bimbo stuff, bored/horny dudes, domination, role play, spammers, and drama queens (or kings) ...and most of the sexual fetishes brewing out there. Jeez Louise, where did my libido go? On a controversial note, I can't stand identity politics, which has become a tool to divide people over backward issues (gender, race, religion). I'm allergic to lobbies, corporate news, big tech, big pharma, and political correctness. But feel free to disagree ...freedom of speech is still okay in my book! I'm a cross dresser and effeminate by nature and feel that my body is male, but my heart is female. I wish I had the vocabulary of being LGBTQ 25 years ago. I do much better in the company of women that trying to bluff my way thru with men. I've been self-saddled with body images and insecurities about my arms since I was a child. Hello from Chantilly, VA! Crossdressing for decades, intermittently, with varying degrees of success, but absolutely adoring every second. The best time was following my divorce where, living alone, I was totally free to explore and develop my feminine persona. Outings fully dressed, participation in local TG support groups, the frightening freedom of interacting with the public while presenting my very best attempts at femininity; these times are seared into my memory and always produce a knowing smile. After meeting the love of my life, however, I decided I no longer needed that 'fantasy life' and conducted a total purge of all things CD. Over time (you guessed it), my inner woman resurfaced and dressing in secret became her only refuge. [An annoying touch of OCD has led to a steadily increasing wardrobe with a 'buy, try on, bag, store' philosophy; I'm constantly spending to replenish my 'stash' but unable to access it due to hiding it away from my home. I got a lot of great outfits / shoes; just can't get at them very easily.] My wife is aware of her 'competition' but it's simply a topic to be avoided; we don't speak of it, and I won't hurt her by pushing it. But now I feel the need to connect with like-minded ladies, share our thoughts and dreams, explore both the lifestyle and the mindset, and, possibly, pick up a few recommendations on fashion, make-up and the mystic art of 'blending' into the public landscape as a woman. May 2017 Just a girl beginning to truly explore the world after a long hiatus. I started dressing when I was about 10. Several years ago circumstances changed to allow me more freedom to enjoy. Annie Marie is an older, plus size girl who enjoys her feminine self. I seem to have less and less time for her. But the time I do have is when I am happiest. I am so much more comfortable in the woman's role. My wife does know of my dressing and approves, which makes me one of the very lucky ones. Still, she does not know of my more feminine desires. 2/21/2017 It has been a while since I have had a quiet moment to check in. We have been sharing our home with a friend who suddenly needed a roof over her head. She doesn't know of Annie and that really has been frustrating. Some shopping has helped but having to dress behind closed doors again, in our own home, let's just say I have been a bit bitchy lately. The sweet greetings that were sent to me for my birthday were so welcome and made me smile. Something that doesn't happen often enough. It does feel like winter here in VA. is beginning to wind down. With warmer weather coming I hope I can get away with wearing shorter shorts again this gardening season. Having neighbors close but not too close does allow the "girl" some freedom.
